SS Coated Ductwork Installation for New AEX Scrubber

Our team carried out the installation of SS-coated ductwork for a newly installed AEX scrubber system, covering duct diameters ranging from Ø800 mm to Ø2000 mm. The works involved the on-site handling, positioning, alignment, and assembly of large-diameter prefabricated duct sections in accordance with approved construction drawings and project specifications.

The installation works included coordination of lifting activities, accurate alignment of duct sections, flange connection works, gasket installation, and bolting to ensure proper fit-up and secure connections. Particular care was taken during installation to protect the stainless steel coating and maintain surface integrity, given the corrosive exhaust environment associated with scrubber systems.

The ductwork was installed and integrated with the AEX scrubber inlet and outlet connections, ensuring correct orientation, elevation, and clearance within the existing plant layout. Works were executed in close coordination with other trades and the main contractor to meet site constraints and construction sequencing requirements.

All installations were completed in compliance with site safety regulations and quality standards, and the ductwork was handed over in an installation-ready condition for subsequent inspection, testing, and commissioning.
