Hook-Up Installation Works at UMC Fab P3 – Slurry System

Our team carried out tool hook-up installation works at UMC Fab P3, specifically supporting the installation of slurry systems for process tools. The works included the installation of double-containment piping systems utilizing PVC and PFA materials, in accordance with project specifications, cleanroom requirements, and semiconductor industry standards.

The installation activities covered the handling, routing, alignment, and installation of inner and outer containment pipes, ensuring proper segregation, leak containment integrity, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements. Pipe supports, routing clearances, and connection points were executed to suit tool layouts and site constraints within the fab environment.

Works were performed in coordination with tool vendors, main contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth integration with overall tool hook-up activities and adherence to construction sequencing. Particular attention was given to cleanliness control, material handling, and installation accuracy to meet fab operational and quality requirements.

All installation works were completed in compliance with site safety regulations and project quality standards, and the slurry piping systems were handed over in a ready condition for inspection, testing, and subsequent commissioning.
